Flex Outlet Plates are also known as Cable Outlet Sockets. These plates are used when wiring an appliance typically under a unit or worktop where the isolator is located elsewhere. They usually have a hole in the front plate and each plate has 4 terminals on the back that wire via a screw connector. You will also find an earth connection. The flex would be secured using the cable clamp also located on the back. The connectors are rated to accept a maximum load of 20 amps. Remote isolation or fused protection is required via a Spur Connection Unit or back at the consumer Unit. We recommend 25mm deep wall boxes for mounting our Flex Outlet Plates. Glad to find these as they suit the house down to a tee rather than plastic or chrome type switches. You should advertise them in home magazines, I am sure there would be plenty of buyers.

Been searching for sockets and switches to match the house as it is old and bright colours don't go. This look is interesting and looks more genuine we think. Also noticed that each plate is slightly different so not regular pattern. Very good.
